When I asked on Instagram what topics to cover on the blog someone asked how to be the “IT” girl after the holidays. If you don’t know what the “IT” girl is let me explain. To my understanding it is the healthy and balanced lifestyle girl. The girl who works out, eats healthy, works towards her goals but still knows how to have a balanced relationship with going out and indulging.
My top tips for becoming the IT girl in 2022:
- Go to bed earlier and get up earlier! Make sure to get at-least 8 hours of sleep.
- Start your day off by mediating, journaling, or planning for your day.
- Drink lots of H20. We are talking 8 cups a day sister!
- If possible start your day off moving! Workout, at home pilates, a nice long walk etc!
- Practice 80/20- 80% Whole Foods with 20% indulgence foods (whatever that means to you).
- Self care day 1 x per week. Olaplex hair mask, face mask, teeth whitening, apply lux unfiltered tanner!
- Plan a date with significant other or girlfriends 1-3 a month! Dinner + drinks or even a coffee date!
- 1-2 x a month do something that makes you look + feel great! Facial, nails, massage, blow out!
- Start manifesting and repeat affirmations to yourself! Mindset is a powerful tool!
- Get on a workout routine! M,W,F try to get a workout in! Walk the other days!
- Take your vitamins + probiotics! Adding these to my routine were game changers!
- Skincare routine every single day! Face wash, toner, lotion, retinol, sunscreen, eye cream etc.!
